I have over 25 years experience across all areas of human resource management and workplace relations.

Having worked at a senior level in both the public and private sectors, as well as in one of Australia’s leading Universities, I am ideally placed to understand the complexities of the work environment and develop strategies and solutions aimed at improving business outcomes.

Having worked at a national level for a major public sector union prior to taking on workplace relations positions within Government, higher education and industry, I know how the system works. I bring a strong understanding of the needs of all parties to the bargaining table and possess the maturity required to undertake complex negotiations.

A major focus of my consulting activity is working with small to medium size enterprises to build compliance with Fair Work Act requirements. Areas of engagement include preparation of enterprise agreements and employment contracts; alignment of policies and procedures to business practice; transmission of business arrangements; termination procedures; development of middle management support programs and overall organisation risk analysis.

My current client list reflects the mining and resources sector, small to medium size retail outlets, professional services organisations, not-for-profit welfare agencies, public sector and Government Trading Enterprises, planning and development companies and the finance sector.

I am committed to ensuring internal accountability for workplace relations is embedded within the organisational systems and reflected in the competencies of people managers.
